Man pleads guilty in son’s shooting death

TULSA, Okla. (AP) – A Sapulpa man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the shooting death of his 5-year-old son.

Thirty-eight-year-old Bryon Keith Creech entered a blind plea Thursday in Tulsa County District Court, leaving sentencing to the judge.

Creech was charged with shooting Braydon Creech during an approximately 17-hour standoff with police at his wife's apartment that ended March 19, 2015.
