Man is injured after rear ending accident

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that two vehicles were heading south on US-77 when a vehicle was rear ended at 10:05 this morning. Johnny Horner of Stillwater, 62 rear ended Danny Shields of Ponca City, 64 after he had come to a stop at the railroad tracks just south of Oakland Ave. Ponca City EMS took Horner to Ponca City ER with head, chest and leg injuries. He was admitted in stable condition. Shields suffered no injuries.

OHP said the cause of collision was inattentive driving.
