Man in critical condition after hitting deer

A man is in critical condition after hitting a deer while on his motorcycle this morning. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, James Hendrix, 56 of Avant was heading west on Highway 11 in Osage County. He was flown to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa and admitted with head and trunk injuries.
