Man held in Kay County Detention Center faces 15 child sexual abuse charges

A man who has been held in the Kay County Detention Center since May 9 on a probable cause warrant, has now been charged with 15 counts of child sexual abuse.
Steven Alford-Orecchio is being held in lieu of a $5 million bond on the probable cause warrant, filed by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. His initial court appearance was at 9 a.m. May 18.
The counts include:

- 5. SEXUAL ABUSE- CHILD UNDER 12
- 6. SOLICIT MINOR FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE/OBSCENE MATERIAL (FELONY)
- 7. SEXUAL ABUSE- CHILD UNDER 12
- 8. SOLICIT MINOR FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE/OBSCENE MATERIAL (FELONY)
- 9. SEXUAL ABUSE- CHILD UNDER 12
- 10. SOLICIT MINOR FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE/OBSCENE MATERIAL (FELONY)

Alford-Orecchio was arrested at his home in Ponca City when members of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant.
Task Force members received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children pertaining to the sexual exploitation of a child. An investigation revealed probable cause to obtain the search warrant.
After the search warrant was served, Alford-Orecchio was arrested on one count of Sexual Battery of a Child Under the Age of 16 and he was booked into the Kay County Detention Center.
In addition to the OSBI, task force member agencies involved with this arrest were from the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, US Department of Homeland Security, Tulsa Police, Ponca City Police, and the District 8 Office of the District Attorney.
An affidavit in the case was filed under seal.
His next court date is set for 10 a.m. May 25 for an attorney status review docket.
On Tuesday, his estranged wife, Lisaann Orecchio, filed for divorce in Kay County District Court. A hearing for temporary orders in that case is set for for Monday, May 21.
