Man found dead in car in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead inside a car in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police say the shooting was reported early Wednesday near Northwest 27th Street and Roff Avenue. According to Oklahoma City police, investigators believe the victim got into an altercation and was shot, then tried to drive away.

Police say the man crashed a short distance from where the shooting occurred. Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made in the case, which is Oklahoma City’s 65th homicide of the year.
