Man Drowns in Osage County

A drowning occurred on Saturday at approximately 2 a.m. on Boar Creek, approximately 6 miles east of Hominy, in Osage County.

20-year-old Stephen Bosch, of Collinsville, was with a group of friends on a rock ledge on the bank of Boar Creek. Bosch was reportedly consuming alcohol, jumping off the rock ledge into Boar Creek, and swimming. He was last seen at approximately 2 a.m. but was not reported missing in the water until just after 2 p.m. His remains were located and recovered at 10:42 a.m. Sunday.

He was taken by Powell Funeral Home to their office in Hominy, Oklahoma.

No other information regarding the death has been released.
