MOORE, Okla. (AP) – Authorities say a man is dead and his 34-year-old wife is in critical condition after an argument ended in gunfire in Moore.

According to Moore police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis, 36-year-old Jason Morgan was fatally shot around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Lewis said two people Morgan and his neighbor knew had an argument earlier in the day, and Morgan went to confront his neighbor about the dispute with a gun after he had been drinking.

According to Lewis, Tiffany Morgan tried to stop her husband, but he counted down and then shot her in the face.

Authorities say Morgan then shot the deadbolt of his neighbor’s house and entered the home. Police say Morgan was then shot and killed by his neighbor.
