Man arrested on multiple warrants, additional charges

Ponca City Police arrested Jaycob Prince, 19, at 8:28 am. Thursday on multiple warrants and new complaints.

The arrest was made at Seventh Street and Highland Avenue.

Prince was arrested on city warrants of failure to appear in court on a charge of improper backing; failure to appear in court on a charge of hit and run; failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under suspension; petit larceny and failure to pay a fine for petit larceny.

He also was arrested on Kay County warrants for failure to appear in court on two charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and a charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance – methamphetamine.

New charges included possession of methamphetamine; driving under suspension; defective equipment; possession of paraphernalia; and no insurance.
