Main Street seeking support for Arts & Culture District

The Ponca City Main Street program is seeking letters of support from businesses and individuals within the community for the formation of an Arts and Culture District downtown.

Main Street is working on applying for a Cultural District Development Grant through the Oklahoma Arts Council. The grant would help bring more arts and culture downtown and also would help brand the downtown area and make it more of a destination within the community, Main Street Executive Director Chelsea McConnell said.

McConnell said letters of support can be sent to the Main Street office at 516 East Grand Ave. by March 17. A template for a supporting letter is available by calling McConnell at (580) 763-8082.
