Tonkawa Resident Charged With Felony Embezzlement From Stop -N- Go

Ponca City police took a report on November 20, 2024 from Stop N Go, owner who reported that an employee was embezzling lottery tickets.

Officers from Ponca City Police Dept. then questioned employee Kyle Andrew Grimm, 38 of Tonkawa after his register was short of money. He admitted to playing the lottery but not paying for tickets and told the owner he would pay for the tickets. He did not pay the store back.

Grimm has worked at both Ponca City Stop N Go locations at 801 South 14th Street and at 501 West Highland.

Police received a sales report from the owner that showed a total of $2,674 in embezzled lottery funds.

Grimm was arrested and booked in the county jail on March 5 after the case was filed in February.

He is now free on $25,000 bond.

An attorney status review is set in Kay County District Court.

Grimm is now facing a felony count of embezzlement.
