Masterbuilders for the 2021-2022 academic year at Southwestern College in Winfield were named during Honors Convocation recently, according to a news release from SC Tuesday.
The honor of Masterbuilder is given to graduating seniors who best typify the spirit of Southwestern, the college said.
The Student Government Association initiates the process for naming Masterbuilders by calling for each SGA member to nominate students. The list of students who receive votes are then submitted to a faculty vote. Finally, the entire student body votes, choosing recipients from the names remaining on the list.
Masterbuilders for 2021-2022 include: Chloe Manly, El Paso, Texas; Fabio Schneider, Cologne, Germany; Alexa Powers, Bixby, Okla.; Jesus Flores, El Paso, Texas and Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; Marcelo Mann, Offenburg, Germany; and Jessica Coleman, Salina.
