The National Weather Service has issued a rare wind chill warning starting tonight at midnight and continuing through noon on Friday. We can expect dangerously cold wind as low as 20 to 25 degrees below zero. If you have closings or cancellations because of the weather, let us know. Email: [email protected]
Some changes have already been made:
- Ice on the Plaza is open for skating today from 1 ‘til 6 but because of tomorrow’s weather the’ve decided to close tomorrow and Friday, but will be open on Saturday, Christmas Eve, from noon-4pm. Stay up to date by following the Ice on the Plaza page on Facebook.
- The Ponca City Senior Center will be closed Thursday December 22nd. The center will reopen following the Christmas Holiday on Tuesday December 27th.
