Santa surprised the Washington Pre-K students on Friday morning. Principal Tina Fisher said she was telling students about the upcoming Polar Night Express when there was a knock at the door and Santa appeared! Santa brought each student a ticket to attend Polar Express Night and stayed and greeted all the students.

Polar Express Night is the annual literacy event. It will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Students will get to participate in reading activities, take family pictures with the Polar Express train, shop at the book fair and have milk and cookies.

Students can also enter a drawing for a chance to win new books from the book fair, a toy train and a copy of “The Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg.

A special thanks goes out to 104.7 The Bull, a PIE Partner, for helping with Santa.
