A personal injury collision occurred at approximately 12:47 a.m. Wednesday morning on Interstate 35 northbound at mile marker 186 in Perry in Noble County.
Vicky Lynn Lane, 59, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado northbound crossing the bridge at the 186 mile marker on Interstate 35 northbound. Lane was traveling in the inside lane when it drove across a spot of black ice. The vehicle then entered into a broad slide, departed the roadway to the right, continued across a grassy portion for 200 ft, entered the northbound on ramp and rolled 2.5 times landing on its top.
Lane was transported by Life Net EMS to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was admitted in critical condition with internal trunk and head injuries.
The cause of the collision was listed as unsafe speed.
Seat belts were equipped. While the vehicle had airbags, they did not deploy.
