U.S. Senate passes $484 billion relief package

More relief is on the way for people impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Tuesday afternoon, the U.S. Senate passed a $484 billion relief package, targeting small businesses, hospitals and testing expansion. Oklahoma Senator James Lankford says this is a bill he’s been waiting on for days.

The bill includes an additional $310B for Paycheck Protection Program, $75B for hospitals, healthcare providers and $25B for expansion of testing with $11B directly to states.
