Two Arkansas Adults And Two Children Injured In Alfalfa County Accident

JET, Okla. – Two adults and two children all from Springdale, AR. were hospitalized following an injury collision that took place at 2:30 a.m. Friday morning on State Highway 11, 0.75 miles east of the State Highway 38 junction, 10 miles north of Jet in Alfalfa County.

Angel Rugamas Galdamez, 39, was driving a 2006 Honda Pilot westbound on the highway. For an unknown reason, the vehicle departed roadway right, struck embankment, went airborne for approximately 100 feet, came down nose-first, and flipped one-half time, coming to a rest on its top. Galdamez was later transported by ambulance to Bass hospital in Enid, OK and then transferred to OU Medical in Oklahoma City, OK. He was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, and trunk external injuries.

Galdamez had three passengers in his vehicle that were also sent to Integris Bass and later OU Medical. Amaleidys Rodriguez Chiong, 41, was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, trunk external, leg, and arm injuries. Both the male children, ages 5, were admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, and trunk external injuries.

Seatbelts were equipped by all occupants, including the children.
