Due to the concerns of COVID-19, the Tonkawa Tribe of Oklahoma has decided to postpone the 40th annual PowWow at this time.
The Tonkawa Tribal Committee said in a press release that the decision was not easy to make, but stated that the concerns for participants, vendors and attendees are their top priority.
A new date for the powwow will be selected and announced at a later time.
