While the data for Thursday was not posted until late afternoon due to a technical glitch, The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 450 new positive COVID-19 cases as of today, June 18.
This is the most cases reported in a single day for the state, and this brings the overall amount of cases in Oklahoma to 9,354 with 2,283 cases active.
Locally, Payne County has 23 new cases, Osage County has eight, Noble County with four new cases Kay and Garfield counties both have two new cases and one for Logan County.
Two virus-related death were documented for Thursday. Oklahoma’s death toll is at 366.
173 more Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19, putting the state’s recovery total at 7,071.
