Three new COVID-19 cases for Kay County, OSDH reports 283 new cases Sunday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 283 new positive COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Sunday, putting the state at 15,928 cases since testing started. There are 3,682 active cases at this time.

Kay County saw another increase with three new cases. For new cases in surrounding counties, Payne County has nine, Logan County has five, Washington County with four, three for Osage County and one for Garfield County.

For active cases in local communities, Stillwater has 85 active cases, Ponca City with 22, Bartlesville has 10, 16 for Enid, Guthrie with 13, six in Cleveland, Perry and Red Rock both with three, two each for Fairfax and Hominy. Blackwell, Mulhaull, Orlando, Newkirk, Pawhuska, and Morrison each have one case. There are no active cases in Blackwell and Tonkawa.

There were no virus-related deaths documented for Sunday as Oklahoma’s death toll remains at 398. OSDH reports 281 more Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19, putting the statewide recovery total at 12,246.
