Residents in the western half of Kay County might have felt some shaking on Friday night and Sunday.
The U.S. Geological Survey Team recorded a 3.4 magnitude happened at around 11 p.m. Friday with an epicenter nearly 10 miles northwest of Blackwell (near 124th street and Dry Road). The same area experienced a 3.2 magnitude earthquake Sunday afternoon, followed by a 2.6 magnitude earthquake Sunday night.
