The students at Lincoln Elementary are taking the Wildcat Reading Challenge this year. Each nine weeks, students and staff are challenged to read a set of specific book genres and earn a certain number of AR points. The first nine weeks, students and staff at Lincoln Elementary had a Leopard sheet, and the second nine weeks was a Cheetah challenge. The school almost doubled the amount of successful readers during the second nine weeks.
Thursday, January 10, all Cheetah readers will be recognized with a Cheetah Charge. After being announced, readers will charge their way across the gym where they will be given a piece of duct tape. They will use their duct tape to tape assistant principal Ms. Mills to the wall.
