With today being Veteran’s Day, and yesterday being the U.S. Marine Corps’ 246th birthday, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt made a visit Wednesday to the Kay County War Memorial and Walk of Warriors in Tonkawa. There, Governor Stitt met with World War 2 Veteran Ralph Vickery, 94, who served in the Navy.
Gov. Stitt also met with Loren Fitzgerald, 97, who was in Okinawa when the treaty was signed that ended the war.
