The City of Ponca City announced Monday that on Tuesday, February 5, the underpass on South Avenue between 1st Street and Pine Street will be closed during the day for asphalt repairs. The road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. when the construction is scheduled to be complete.
During repairs, traffic will be diverted to First Street and Pine Street. Nearby roads that provide access to cross the railroad tracks include Grand Avenue in downtown Ponca City, as well as Highway 60 near the refinery for those that might be driving from outside of Ponca City.
