PONCA CITY – Work has started on the realignment of the sanitary sewer in advance of the start of the proposed new Public Safety Center and Jail. Approximately 440 linear feet of new 12 inch diameter sanitary sewer line is being constructed to replace the existing sewer line. The new routing of the sewer line was chosen to eliminate conflicts with the construction of the new Police Department buildings. The project boundaries are East Oklahoma Avenue to the north and East Walnut Avenue to the south, between Third Street and Fourth Street.

The City Engineering Division designed the sewer project and prepared the plans.  The City’s Wastewater Division crews are installing the line.
