Just after Memorial Day, Evans and Associates will begin a resurfacing project along Highway 77(14th Street) in Ponca City, a two mile stretch between South Avenue and Hartford Avenue.
You can expect the road to be reduced to one lane in both directions. This comes at the same time that a major resurfacing and reconstruction project is underway on highway 77 north of Newkirk to just south of the casinos. You can expect traffic to be reduced to one lane at times with portable traffic lights in place during the project which is expected to be done by Spring 2021.
