A RED FLAG WARNING is in effect for Grant, Kay, Garfield, Noble, Kingfisher and Canadian counties late Wednesday morning through early evening.
Winds will be out of the northwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Humidity will be as low as 15-20%. Maximum temperatures will range from 63-69 degrees.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures will contribute to extreme fire behavior.
