The Ponca City Public School District recently stepped-up in the time of crisis. The Ponca City Hospital was having a shortage of hand sanitizer, so they contacted the PCPS District to see if they could help. PCPS came to the rescue!
Superintendent Shelley Arrott explained, “The hospital reached out to us because they were running low on hand sanitizers. I sent an email to all PCPS staff members, and I had over 100 quick responses willing to help!”
Bret Smith, PCPS Executive Director of Operations, said, “I would like to thank our wonderful teachers and staff members that donated their extra hand sanitizer to our hospital. PCPS does not do anything short of fantastic! The Alliance Health staff were so very appreciative. It makes you feel good when you do something as worthy as helping to keep our front-line folks safe.”
Bret Smith, Tony Smith (Director of Maintenance), and Head Custodian Robert Hoch picked up the donated sanitizer and delivered them to the hospital. #wildcatway
