The Ponca City Lady Cats Basketball Team will make the trip to Tulsa this weekend for the Class 6A State Tournament after picking up a 68-64 win over #3 Booker T. Washington in the Area Tournament on Saturday in Owasso.
Senior Guard Baylee Fincher tallied up 24 points for the Lady Cats as #15 Ponca City made a second half comeback after being down 10 points at halftime.
The Lady Cats will begin State Tournament play on Thursday at the Maybee Center on the Oral RobertsUniversity Campus in Tulsa when they face Deer Creek of Edmond at 7 p.m. Winner will play at noon on Friday against the winner of Union vs. Choctaw.
