On July 9, 2021, Ponca City Internet Crimes Against Children Agents arrested Robert Casey Goldman, 32, at his residence in Ponca City on charges of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography.
PCPD officers obtained and served a search warrant for Mr. Goldman’s home. During the execution of the warrant, several electronic devices and storage devices were seized. Goldman’s phone contained 228 individual website tabs with over 100 images and videos of child pornography displayed.
During his interview with Ponca City Police Officer’s, Goldman admitted to viewing and saving the images as well as an addiction to child pornography.
The case originated in June 2021 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded a cyber tip they received from a social media platform to Wichita PD in Wichita, KS. Wichita PD ICAC agents linked the tip to a possible resident in Ponca City and referred the case to PCPD ICAC agents. The Ponca City agents were able to identify Goldman from the information provided.
The investigation was a joint effort between OSBI ICAC Task Force, Wichita PD ICAC Agents and the Ponca City Police Department ICAC Agents.
