A Ponca City couple accused of animal cruelty back in May 2019 have failed to appear in the Kay County District Court for a second time. Daniel James Moran, 54, and Patricia Lynn Moran, 51, both of Ponca City, were both charged after Kay County Deputy Jason Bell discovered 5 dead pigs on the property the Moran family was renting. Bell discovered a 3-legged goat and several other pigs living on the property, and no food or water source was found.

The first court appearance they missed was in August 2019, and the second time was on Friday, July 10, 2020.

Both suspects have a $2,000 bond.
