The Ponca City Police Department responded to a shooting incident that occurred at around 11:38 p.m. Tuesday night in the 1600 block of N. Hathaway.
An AllianceHealth Emergency Room employee requested an officer after a male was seen with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The suspect has since been transported to a hospital outside of Ponca City.
Police continue to investigate.
