The National Weather Service gave out plenty of warning ahead of time before the nation was struck with bitter cold temperatures Wednesday. Most of the country from the Dakotas to New York saw a Wind Chill Warning. On Wednesday, areas up around Minnesota and Illinois saw wind chills as low as -57 degrees in Minneapolis and even -60 degrees further north. As for back home in Northern Oklahoma, wind chill values were as low as around -3 degrees Wednesday morning. However, the National Weather Service in Norman says that Thursday will be warmer across Northern Oklahoma with a high temperature around 48 with possibly a high near 71 Sunday, the warmest it could possibly be since November 2018.
