Po-Hi Swim Team Competes Well in State Championship

The Ponca City High School Swim team competed this past weekend at the State Championships in Jenks. In the 6A team standings the boys finished 9th and girls finished 13th. In addition, Ponca City swimmers also collected several accolades in individual events (results below). “We have not done this well at the State Meet in many years. I am super proud of our swimmers and lucky to have a great assistant coach.” Said Head Coach Heather Harris. Ponca City Public School Athletic Director Jason Leavitt said, “Coach Harris and her staff have done an outstanding job with our Swim team. We are proud of the student-athletes and their commitment!” The results are listed below.
