Planned city-wide power outage in Newkirk scheduled for June 12

On Saturday, June 12th, there will be a city-wide power outage in Newkirk starting at 11 p.m. until 8 a.m. the next morning to replace poles at the substation that support the lines feeding the town’s transformers. The project is necessary to improve the city’s power grid.
