The Ponca City Public School Special Education Department is hosting the 3rd Annual Northern Oklahoma Resource Fair on Thursday, March 28 at Pioneer Technology Center located at 2101 North Ash in Ponca City. The come and go event will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
The Resource Fair is a great place to gather information on extra-curricular activities, therapy or health services, and many other resources available for current and future planning in Northern Oklahoma and throughout the state. In addition to information available from various vendors and representatives, new this year will be breakout sessions on the topics of TEFRA (Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act) Fund, DDSD (Developmental Disabilities Services Department), and ABLE Tech (assistive technology services and programs). There will be two sessions offered. One session will be from 5:00-5:30 p.m., and the other session is 6:00-6:30 p.m. Each topic will be presented during every session.
The Resource Fair is FREE to parents, educators, and caregivers for individuals with all levels of disabilities, ages birth to 99 years old. There will be drawings sponsored by Exploration Destination and the Ponca High School “I Can” Program.
