The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 7,098 COVID-19 over the weekend, putting Oklahoma at 373,090 COVID-19 cases overall. As of Sunday, 32,583 CCOVID-19 cases are active in Oklahoma.
OSDH has documented 92 virus-related deaths for Saturday and Sunday, putting Oklahoma’s death toll to 3,279. Information about the recent deaths or when they were identified is unknown at this time. What we do know is that there have been two new virus-related deaths for Kay County according to the local counties page at coronavirus.health.ok.gov. One death was listed for Ponca City and another one was listed for Blackwell. There’s also three new virus-related deaths for Osage County, two each for Garfield and Logan counties and one each for Pawnee and Payne counties.
Since Friday, Kay County has seen 122 new COVID-19 cases to put the county’s stats to 4,559 COVID-19 cases, 54 deaths and 4,023 recoveries. There are 482 active COVID-19 cases for Kay County. Data for communities within Kay County is posted below:

OSDH is also reporting 6,750 new recoveries for Saturday and Sunday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 337,228. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
The latest report shows there have been 278,151 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 35,822 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 242,329. There have also been 315,875 prime doses allocated and 174,900 boost doses allocated.
Health officials report that as of Friday, there have been 2,674,361 total negative test results, 20,692 hospitalizations and 1,634 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. There are 438 patients in ICU.
