The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 6,935 COVID-19 cases in total for Saturday and Sunday. Oklahoma’s seen an overall total of 354,979 COVID-19 cases as 40,109 cases are active.
Over the weekend, OSDH has documented 62 virus-related deaths as the statewide death toll is at 2,987. This includes one death in Kay County for a Ponca City individual and one each for Garfield, Logan, Osage and Payne counties.
Kay County also saw 98 new COVID-19 cases to put the stats to 4,235 cases, 48 deaths and 3,650 recoveries. Data for local communities in the county is posted below:

As for new COVID-19 cases over the weekend in local counties, there are 120 for Garfield, 110 for Payne, 89 for Logan, 87 for Osage, 68 for Washington, 40 for Pawnee, 22 for Noble and six for Grant. Data for local counties is posted below:

OSDH is also reporting 5,009 new recoveries for Saturday and Sunday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 311,883. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Friday’s report shows there have been 197,820 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 28,409 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 169,411. There have also been 267,400 prime doses allocated and 42,900 boost doses allocated.
Health officials report that as of Friday, there have been 2,589,408 total negative test results, 19,616 hospitalizations and 1,847 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. There are 470 patients in ICU.
