The daily report on Thursday from the Oklahoma State Department of Health shows that 110 more Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 since Wednesday, bringing Oklahoma’s overall total of cases to 4,962 since testing started.
As of Wednesday, Kay County has had 49 cases reported since testing started with 4 cases currently active. New information regarding county data will be released later today.
Six more virus-related deaths in Oklahoma were documented Thursday morning as the death toll is now at 284. Three deaths happened since Wednesday, while the other three occurred between May 4 and 11.
- Two from Oklahoma County, a man and a woman, both in the 65 or older age group.
- Two men from Cleveland County, both in the 65 or older age group.
- One man in Comanche County in the 65 or older age group.
- One woman in Washington County in the 65 or older age group.
A total of 858 Oklahomans have been hospitalized due to COVID-19, 217 individuals currently remain in hospitals.
Reports from OSDH show that 106,943 test results showed as negative.
Since Wednesday, 101 Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19 to bring Oklahoma’s recovery total to 3,660.
