OSDH reports 1,042 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 1,042 new COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, August 11.

 

According to the latest situation report, Oklahoma’s seen 501,353 COVID-19 cases since March 2020 as 17,853 cases are active. The CDC Provisional Death Count is at 8,800. The New Cases 7-day Average is 2,025.

 

Locally, Kay County has seen 5,561 COVID-19 cases, 128 deaths and 5,328 recoveries. Therefor, Kay County has 105 active COVID-19 cases.

PONCA CITY – 4,055 COVID-19 cases/84 deaths/3,908 recoveries

BLACKWELL – 722 COVID-19 cases/28 deaths/668 recoveries

NEWKIRK – 465 COVID-19 cases/6 deaths/450 recoveries

TONKAWA – 388 COVID-19 cases/15 deaths/367 recoveries

KAW CITY – 67 COVID-19 cases/3 deaths/64 recoveries

BRAMAN – 27 COVID-19 cases/1 death/24 recoveries

 

As for the COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 3,484,925 doses have been administered. This includes 1,915,120 Oklahomans receiving the first dose and 1,600,177 Oklahomans that are fully vaccinated.
