The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 2,177 new positive COVID-19 cases for Wednesday, Nov. 11. Oklahoma’s seen 142,334 COVID-19 cases overall as 21,720 cases are active.
19 additional virus-related deaths were reported on Wednesday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,470.
Kay County has 21 new COVID-19 cases, putting the county’s stats to 1,153 COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths and 900 recoveries. As for active cases in the county, there are 134 for Ponca City, 38 for Blackwell, 32 for Newkirk, 22 for Tonkawa, four for Kaw City and one for Braman.
As for new cases in local counties, there are 35 for Payne, 33 for Garfield, 27 for Osage, 24 for Logan, 19 for Washington, 12 for Pawnee, eight for Noble and three for Grant.

OSDH is also reporting 1,070 new recoveries for Wednesday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 119,144. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Latest information from health officials shows that 1,593,041 test results in Oklahoma have returned negative. There have been 9,682 total hospitalizations.
