The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 747 new positive COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Oklahoma’s seen 425,746 COVID-19 cases overall as 12,248 are active. The number of active cases statewide is 283 less than Tuesday.
OSDH is reporting no new deaths for Wednesday as the state’s death toll remains at 4,534.
Kay County saw one new COVID-19 case on Wednesday, putting the county at 5,087 COVID-19 cases, 81 deaths and 4,855 recoveries. There are 151 active cases in Kay County, which is one less than Tuesday. Data for local communities is posted below:

OSDH is reporting 1,029 new recoveries for Wednesday. Oklahoma’s recovery total is now at 408,963. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
There have been 839,401 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 293,397 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 546,004. There have also been 568,735 prime doses allocated and 400,925 boost doses allocated.
