OSDH reporting 461 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 461 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday as the state has seen 428,997 cases in the past year. There are 12,286 COVID-19 cases active across the state.

No deaths were reported for Sunday as the state’s death toll is at 4,534.

Kay County has seen 13 new COVID-19 cases since last Thursday as there are 151 cases active locally. Kay County’s overall stats are 5,102 COVID-19 cases, 81 deaths and 4,870 recoveries. Data for local communities is posted below:

OSDH is reporting 553 new recoveries for Sunday. Oklahoma’s recovery total is now at 412,177. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.

There have been 1,007,817 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 368,851 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 638,966. There have also been 649,525 prime doses allocated and 540,985 boost doses allocated.
