The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,040 new COVID-19 cases for Monday. Oklahoma’s seen 404,994 COVID-19 cases overall as 26,227 cases are active.
Four virus-related deaths were documented Monday, putting Oklahoma’s death toll to 3,817.
Kay County saw an increase with 12 new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 4,935 COVID-19 cases, 64 deaths and 4,556 recoveries. Therefor, there are 315 active cases in Kay County. Data for local communities is posted below:

OSDH is also reporting 1,460 new recoveries for Monday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 374,950. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
There have been 494,085 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 110,860 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 383,225. There have also been 371,975 prime doses allocated and 243,125 boost doses allocated.
Health officials report that as of Friday, there have been 2,866,417 total negative test results, 22,453 hospitalizations and 1,015 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 with 303 patients in ICU..
