One person injured from Sunday morning accident near Ponca City

An injury collision occurred at 12:23 a.m. Sunday morning on Riverview Road at N3305 Road, approximately 3 miles south and 1 mile west of Ponca City in Kay County.

Haleluyah Fish, 23, of Moodys, Ok. was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima east bound on Riverview Road, departed the roadway to the right and struck a tree. Fish was pinned for approximately 1 hour before Ponca City Fire Department and Kay County Sheriff Deputies were able to free her using the Hurst tool.

Fish was transported by Air Evac to St. Anthonys Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was admitted in fair condition with leg injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol listed the cause of the collision as inattentive driving. Seat belts were equipped and in use and airbags did deploy.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Beck #700  of the Kay/Noble County Detachment of Troop K. Assisted by Kay County Sheriffs Office, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Ponca City Fire Department and Air Evac.
