At approximately 6:13 p.m. on Monday, November 22, officers of the Ponca City Police Department responded to the 3200 Blk of N. 14th St. in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.
A vehicle was traveling northbound on 14th St. and struck a pedestrian who was crossing 14th St. westbound, from the east side of the roadway.
The victim was life-flighted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City for emergency care and later died as a result of their injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
