A personal injury collision occurred at 3:05 a.m. Saturday morning on County Road 5451, 1 mile east of S. 1st Street near Fairfax in Osage County.
Timothy Dilbeck, 59, of Fairfax was driving 2016 Dodge Ram pick up eastbound on County Road 5451, went left of center, struck a guardrail and departed roadway to the left. The vehicle rolled one full time down an embankment.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s report, Dilbeck’s condition was listed as impaired. Dilbeck was transported by Fairfax EMS to Ponca City Hospital and then transferred to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was admitted for trunk internal injuries.
Seatbelts were equipped but not in use. Airbags did deploy in the vehicle.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Armstrong #246 of Troop K. Assisted by Osage County Sheriff’s Office, Fairfax Police Department and Fairfax Fire Department.
