The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 10,776 new positive COVID-19 cases for Saturday and Sunday. Oklahoma’s seen 331,362 COVID-19 cases overall as 42,956 cases are active.
A total of 58 virus-related deaths were documented over the weekend to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 2,761.
Kay County saw an increase over the weekend with 152 new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 3,852 cases, 44 deaths and 3,203 recoveries. Data for Kay County communities is posted below:

OSDH also reported 5,215 new recoveries for Saturday and Sunday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 285,645. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Health officials report that as of Friday, there have been 2,477,328 total negative test results, 18,418 hospitalizations and 1,961 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. There are 477 patients in ICU.
As of Friday, there have been 174,900 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine received across Oklahoma as 50,330 doses have been administered.
