As of 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, the Oklahoma State Department of Health documented only 29 COVID-19 cases statewide, bringing Oklahoma’s overall total to 2,599. Good news is that the number of those recovered has also climbed to 1,575, a jump from 1,534 on Saturday.
One new death was documented, bringing the state’s total to 140.
More good news is that there were no new cases reported in any local counties. Kay County holds steady with 46 cases and 33 recovered, Osage County with 64 cases and 30 recovered, Payne County has 37 cases and 25 recovered, Pawnee with 28 cases with 18 recovered, Garfield with 10 cases and half of them recovered, Logan with 9 cases where all but two have recovered, Noble County with 6 cases and all but one recovered and the 2 cases for Grant County have each recovered.
To break that down into local cities, Ponca City has 41 cases with 31 recovered, Stillwater with 21 cases and 15 recovered and Enid at 9 cases with 4 recovered.
Continue to follow health guidelines from the CDC to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Oklahoma’s Safer at Home order goes until May 6.
