The Oklahoma State Wrestling Tournament will take place this upcoming Friday and Saturday in Oklahoma City, and numerous wrestlers from Kay County will be participating.
For Ponca City, eight members will be competing. This includes Preston Lee, Jack Swenson, Ryker Agee, Rayden Agee and Landon Newlin.
Blackwell will have 10 individuals wrestling. This includes Louden Wolfe, Aidan O’Dell, Aiden Godbehere, Kaiden Ailey, Kasen Odell, Lawson Lusk, Jason Osgood, Christian Mora, Kruz Goff, Kolby Looper and Jd McCleary.
Tonkawa wrestlers going to state include Carlaeona Hockert, Jadin Howard, Mic’cael Brown and Cam Jackson.
For Newkirk, Freshman, Brady Oldfield finished 6th at the Class 3A East Regional and will serve as an alternate at 113 lbs for this week’s state tournament.
