Four Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa sports programs begin post season play this week.
NOC Softball is in Muskogee for the NJCAA Region 2 Softball Tournament on Thursday. The Mavs (27-26) face Eastern at 11 a.m. in their first game in the double elimination tournament.
Mavs’ Baseball is in Enid for the NJCAA Region 2 play-in game against Redlands Community College Thursday at 4 p.m. at David Allen Memorial Ballpark. If the Mavs (30-25) beat Redlands, they advance in the tournament Sunday against top-seeded Western at 7 p.m.
Mavs’ Women’s Soccer (9-4) faces Rich Mountain (AR) at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at D. Bruce Selby Field in Enid. If the Mavs’ women advance, they face Rose State Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Enid.
The 8th ranked Maverick Men’s Soccer Team (9-1) faces Rich Mountain (AR) at noon Friday in the first round of the NJCAA Region 2 Soccer Tournament at D. Bruce Selby Field in Enid.
Teams must win their region tournament to advance in the NJCAA playoffs.
